In the season 2020/2021 Maria Ladurner will be performing as Idaspe in Vivaldis Il Bajazet at Staatstheater Nürnberg under the baton of Wolfgang Katschner. Furthermore you can find concerts with Michi Gaigg, Gunar Letzbor and Jordi Savall at Konzerthaus Wien, Brucknerhaus Linz and at renown festivals as Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci, Styriarte and Donaufestwochen im Strudengau in her agenda. Marias first Solo-CD “Primadonnen des Kaisers” will be released in spring 2021 at the label PanClassics.

The versatile young soprano gave her debut performance at the age of 19 as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro at Teatro Sociale in Trento and at Tiroler Festspiele Erl. Her roles as Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Hodel (Fiddler on the Roof), Gabrielle (La vie parisienne), Pastore (Tosca) took her to Bonn opera house, Theater Aachen, Theater an der Rott, Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Seefestspiele Mörbisch, Operettensommer Kufstein and Neue Oper Wien.

Maria Ladurner particularly enjoys the field of Early Music. She has given concerts with renowned ensembles such as Ars Antiqua Austria, Ensemble 1700, Finnish Baroque Orchestra, Salzburger Hofmusik. In 2019 she was part of Giovanni Bononcinis Polifemo in the role of Venere under the baton of Dorothee Oberlinger at Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci and at Markgräfliches Opernhaus Bayreuth. In this production she also gained her first experiences in historical acting under the direction of Margit Legler. Furthermore she performed at Donaufestwochen im Strudengau and Orgelwoche Nürnberg. Maria Ladurner has been involved in four CD recordings with the St. Blasius academy orchestra and the lable „musikmuseum“ by Tiroler Landesmuseum and will soon be heared in a recording of Michale Haydns “Die Ährenleserin” with Salzburger Hofmusik under the baton of Wolfgang Brunner.

At the J.I.F. Biber Competition 2019 she won the J.I.F. Biber-Price and the special price of Fiori musicali and Note1 GmbH. With the Ensemble Mozaïque she won the First Price and the Audience Price of the Competition Musikakademie Rheinsberg. Mozaïque can therefor call itself Rheinsberger Hofkapelle 2020.

Maria Ladurner attended a pre-college Voice course at Mozarteum Salzburg taught by Barbara Bonney before she began studying at Vienna’s University of Music and Performing Arts. She graduated from KS Edith Lienbacher’s class receiving a Bachelor’s Degree. Maria Ladurner currently studies Baroque Vocal at Mozarteum Salzburg where she is taught by Andreas Scholl.
