Gillian Zammit
is an established soprano, performing regularly both in Malta and overseas. She studied in Italy with Carlo Bergonzi and Victoria de los Angeles. Gillian is a versatile performer with an operatic repertoire that ranges from Baroque to 20th Century opera. Productions include Semele and The Turn of The Screw with English opera company ‘Opera Parnassus’, Tales of Hoffmann, Gianni Schicchi and Hansel and Gretel. She is a regular performer at Malta’s National Theatre, productions there include Rigoletto where she played the role of Gilda for which she received glowing reviews from 'Opera' magazine and the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflote. She has worked with various conductors including Peter Stark, Paolo Ciardi, Brian Schembri, Michael Laus and Cristian Sandu. Gillian is also highly regarded as a recital singer with a varied repertoire of Lieder, Spanish and French song, as well as being a respected exponent of Maltese Baroque music, having recorded 4 CD’s as part of a series celebrating Maltese Cultural Heritage with Mro. Joe Vella, and has recently recorded a CD of love songs by Paolo Tosti. She has performed extensively abroad including performances in Germany, New York, London, Paris and Romania. Upcoming performances include engagements in Germany and the US.

For the past 3 years Gillian has also trained the Joseph Calleja HSBC children's choir and is the music director of The School of Performing Arts by Drama Troupe and is very active producing shows aimed at encouraging children to appreciate opera and classical music.

Frank Camilleri
started his cello studies with Mro Valeriu Popovici at an early age. He continued his studies under the direction of Simon Abdilla Joslin and attended several masterclasses in Malta and abroad. Frank obtained the Associate in cello playing from the London College of Music. He played with several orchestras in Malta and abroad including; The Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mediterranean youth orchestra, and the European Union Chamber Orchestra amongst others. In 2004 he was also chosen to form part of an orchestra which has been formed for the EU celebrations in Finland. In 2006 he became a full-time member with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. He also forms part of the Cordia string Quartet.
