Sofi Paez
is a pianist and singer-songwriter born in San José, Costa Rica. She experiments with her piano and voice, and searches for new ways of expression in her roots, using both the Spanish and English language. The piano pieces are often inspired by minimalism and the nature that surrounds her.

In 2023 Sofi released her EP ‘Circles’ and is now promoting the new songs, touring in Germany, Czechia and Poland. Her piano piece ‘Catalyst’ was released as part of ‘Piano Layers Vol II’ compilation released by 7k! and this year, the piece ‘If I could do it all again’ was highlighted in the BBC series ‘Ultimate Calm’ by Ólafur Arnalds. Sofi has also performed on the stages like the National Theatre of Costa Rica, Funkhaus and TEDxPuravida.
