20 years of experience in playing music together and Caussin Duo’s brilliant understanding characterize the album SIBELIUS – PÄRT – SCHNITTKE. The siblings evolve into a unity when playing together and they fascinate the audience with their music and skills. The recording proves the unbelievable musicality the Duo exudes as well as several awards the two musicians received. Caussin Duo’s focus on music of the 20th century manifests itself with this CD.
„The listeners are taken to a journey that leads from the rich cello’s far bows over the sparkling, waterfall like piano chords to the thrilling harmonised, emphatic sweeping, finely nerved expressive musical moments.“ (Caussin Duo)
