Info for Monteverdi Vespro della beata vergine, 1610

How to describe the summit of sacred music, which seals the connection between Renaissance polyphony and the splendid virtuoso baroque opulence? A masterpiece of startling modernity?

Published three years after L'Orfeo, written in a ten years work, Vespro della beata Vergine is a rainbow of colors and daring, a range of styles and staff, a true personal testimony to the genius of Monteverdi which inspired the whole of Europe. Placed at the head of the Cappella Mediterranea and the Chamber Choir of Namur, Leonardo Garcia Alarcon breathes with a rare vitality, an intense feeling both intense and tender, with fervor and finesse. While entering the 1610 Vespers in the Liturgy, it highlights the dazzling and daring essence of it.

Placed at the head of his Cappella Mediterranea and Namur Chamber Choir, Leonardo Garcia Alarçon breathes with a rare vitality, fervour and finesse.
