Nashville newcomer Laci Kaye Booth will release her self-titled debut collection. With her deeply personal and heartfelt lyrics, Booth’s debut collection shows all the facets of herself as she blends her raw and velvet-like sound with the echoes of her Country influences. The Texas native has already made a name for herself and grown a dedicated fanbase as a season favorite competing on Season 17 of American Idol and after placing in the Top 5, Booth took the leap and moved to Nashville to fully immerse herself in writing and Country music. Her unique “dreamy Country” sound is exactly what drew multiple record labels around town to the young artist likening her to the Lana Del Rey of Country. However, after meeting with Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen of Big Machine Label Group, she knew she found her label home with them, 19 Recordings and her producer Dann Huff. Through word of mouth in the Nashville songwriting community she quickly proved herself and became a sought after artist to work with. With the release of this collection, she will soon be an identifiable voice in Country music – one that makes you turn the volume all the way up, because you’ve simply never heard anything like her before. Laci will be touring and releasing a song to country radio in the Fall of 2021.

Raised in a barn in Livingston, TX and now based in Nashville, singer/songwriter Laci Kaye Booth started writing her own songs at age nine. Named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and SiriusXM The Highway’s “Highway Find,” she has spent much of the past year on the road including shows with Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Ella Langley, and more. After she released her debut album, The Loneliest Girl In The World, last spring, Billboard hailed Booth as “one of the genre’s brightest newcomers” and The Los Angeles Times observed, “The most impressive LP from a new(-ish) country act so far this year, The Loneliest Girl in the World teems with vivid songwriting.”

With characteristic honesty, Booth captures the bewildering moments when everything seems to be crumbling on her poignant new single, “Luck Of The Draw.” Emerging with a clear-eyed acceptance of whatever fate may bring, she sings, “Blame it on the luck of the draw.” She wrote the song with Ryman Wooten, who joined in on background vocals, and Ben West (Stephen Wilson Jr., Patrick Droney), who also produced and previously helmed Booth’s debut album.

At the age of 8, Booth got introduced to Patsy Cline’s, “Crazy” and performed for the first time ever at a local theatre in Huntsville, TX. With a standing ovation and a smile bigger than Texas, she became crazy for the thrill, the art and the emotion music brought. That was the spark that ignited it all, her mother bought her a guitar and learned how to play a year later. She would beg her mom to take her to Karaoke nights, open mics and perform any chance she was given; in class, at talent shows, you name it. What seemed like forever, at least in Laci’s mind, she went through her teenage years as “that girl” who sings and was finally able to perform in small bars and restaurants around Houston, TX at 17 years old.

A dreamer by nature, singing wasn’t an option, it’s what she was made to do. Her mother and step father would drive her to wherever she needed to be to audition for, “The Voice.” After several auditions and not making it through to sing for the judges, Laci was planning another life and going to college to become a physician’s assistant. In late 2018, what Booth thought was an unobtainable goal, she took another chance and auditioned for “American Idol.” Riding through the treacherous emotions, Booth not only made it through on the first round, she took America by storm and broke into Season 17’s Top 5, leaving her no choice but to drop out of college to pursue the dream she’s had since she was 8 years old.
