Info for Scriabin: Complete Piano Sonatas

The ten piano sonatas by Alexander Scriabin take the listener on a profound journey through the development of one of the most enigmatic artistic personalities in music history. From his early Romantic influences to the mysticism and abstraction of his later years, these works epitomise Scriabin's transformation from passionate composer to visionary who strove to transcend music itself.

Elina Akselrud, piano

Elina Akselrud

Each project is an artistic research embodying either a historical, philosophical, or a sociological message. Elina and her Intertwining Arts Team created and premiered “Chopin: A Letter through the Parisian Years” (2016-2018), “The Scriabin Sonatas Reimagined, Part 1” (2018-2019), “Transience: Painting after Scriabin and Vine” (2019-2020), “Messiaen.
