En Erev is the debut project of Israeli artist Yosef, born in the warmth of a close-knit family cocoon in Berlin. Blending indie pop, indie rock, and influences from 1960s Israeli pop, the project tenderly explores themes of travel, family, memories, and self-love.
The focus track, “Besof Ha Yom,” is a captivating indie pop ballad, carried by raw and radiant arrangements that combine electric guitar with bouzouki. Yosef unveils the full depth of his intimate storytelling.

Yosef Madar
is a composer, producer and multi instrumentalist originally from Tel Aviv, currently based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Yosef started out as a classical and jazz composition student. He then proceeded to work as a studio engineer and a producer. While helping various artists and brands cultivate their vision into sound, Yosef crafted a unique and high quality aesthetic. His rhythms and grooves, ranging from funk and soul to jazz and indie, have the feel of a vintage records, while maintaining the punch and clarity of modern ones.
