Info for Slowly, Slowly.

Siril Malmedal Hauge composes music that touches and captures, with honest lyrics most people can recognize themselves in. She has already managed to become one of the country's most in demand vocalists through several projects. In 2019, she received the award "Jazz Talent of The Year" at Moldejazz, and the same year she released her debut album "Uncharted Territory", receiving very good reviews in the press.

She is now out with her second album in her own name. "Slowly, slowly" hits the body immediately, and urges the senses deeper into the moment. It describes a movement, a feeling. A repetitive encouragement to feel the big in the small moments that are around us all the time. The roar in your chest when you let go of the handlebars on the bike downhill, the moss from the forest floor that feels soft against your back, and the finding of a flashing treasure in the quay stones. Time stops - just a little. For a few seconds. "Slowly, slowly" asks you to rest in one of the most important things you have: the ability to bend time, and make the short moments bigger.

Siril Malmedal Hauge
is a Norwegian vocalist, instrumentalist, composer and lyricist. Raised on the island of Sula, on the Norwegian North-West coast surrounded by high mountains and beautiful fjords, now living in Oslo.

She is a requested and versatile vocalist, active in a number of projects and constellations on the Norwegian stage as both vocalist and instrumentalist. She has strong roots in the jazz tradition, with a strength of phrasing and delivering intertextual meaning and storytelling. Known for her ability to adapt to the instrumentalist phrases just as well as a mediator of words and melody.

Martin Myhre Olsen
is a very talented composer and saxophone player without boundaries, who adapts to the music superbly both in front and in the background layers of the music.

Torgeir Hovden Standal
I love the sound in Torgeir's playing. As a guitarist he adds edge and thrill to the band with his starry tone and steady hand.

Kjetil André Mulelid
is one of the most playful and curious musicians I know. As a singer, it feels like he tucks you in and lifts you up at the same time. Making space, and adds the right ingredients.

Martin Morland
The highly requested and versatile bassplayer Martin has a unique knowledge on different genres. He is a constant source of ideas, and he sews together all the grooves in a irreplaceable way.

Henrik Lødøen
A sought-after brilliant drummer, with a wide range of experience within different genres. With his playful, dynamic and intuitive playing, he lifts the band in a beautiful way.
