Info for Luna
This work represents for me a first approach to composition and to the dialogue of the two worlds in which my musical interests dwell, harmonic exploration and improvisation. It was a pleasure for me to realise in the process, how each musician who accepted to be part of this work, had an artistic empathy and in a very generous and inevitable way let their knowledge, emotions and stylistic convictions flow, colouring the original compositions and transforming a personal work into something collective that is undoubtedly reflected in the result that you will hear. Between these two planets of this music, on the one hand, that of the vertiginous improvisation that has accompanied me for years and, on the other, the composition of original music that begins for me with this first recorded work. This is the satellite that gives the album its name. It was a discovery for me to find the spontaneous and loving inspiration to create ‘Luna’, the central theme of the work, and which, without being a planet, breaks the norm and makes everything revolve around it.
