Info for Brahms & Schumann: Works for Clarinet and Piano
The Op. 120, written in 1894, is the last chamber music work Brahms wrote before his death. It is considered the work of maturity of the composer and a point of reference in the clarinet entire repertoire.
The Three Romances Op. 94 (1849) are a moody and easy-to-listen (and play) Schumann piece. Originally for oboe they were also transcribed by the composer for clarinet and viola.
Naglieri and the multi-awarded pianist Deljavan formed one of the finest and sensitive stable ensemble in Italy.
