I never thought I'd say this, but I’m so happy to say my Debut Album As a Child will finally be released on March 11th. I’ve tried a couple of times in the last decade to make this record but sometimes life doesn’t always go to plan.

By 2021 I’d lost hope, writing and playing music just felt different, and I didn’t know if wanted to do it anymore. I’d spent too long in an industry that told me I wasn’t quite good enough and I was ready to walk away from it all with the intention of rekindling my love of music.

Luckily later that year I met someone who offered to produce the album with me, so I decided to give it one more shot and we set up a crowd-fund to help pay for the incredible bunch of musicians who played on the album. - Janileigh Cohen
