Info for Colours

After three albums and more than 500 gigs worldwide, Puggy, returns with Colours, a new pop gem.

Recorded between London and Brussels, or the group is housed in the former studios of Flemish public television, deserted for some years, this fourth album is produced by English producer David Kosten.

Decidedly more electronic, Colours stands as a turning point in the career of a standard group of the new Belgian scene and promises to be one of the most exciting albums of the year.

Always more efficient and more innovative, like the first single Lonely Town.

Matthew Irons, guitar, vocals
Romain Descampe, bass, backing vocals
Egil 'Ziggy' Franzen, drums, backing vocals

Puggy
It is in Brussels that forms Puggy in 2005. The trio is composed of musicians from different backgrounds: the guitarist and singer Matthew Irons (ex-Moon Palace) is English, bassist Romain Descampe is French, and drummer Egil Franzen is Swedish.

Before being signed to the Belgian label Walkie-O, Puggy was shown at festivals in Leeds and Reading. The pop rock trio then released two singles, "The Luckiest Crime" and "Out of Hand" and the Dubois Died Today album in May 2007. He is then asked to turn in the first part of Incubus metal band in Europe.

In February 2008, Puggy opens the concert of The Smashing Pumpkins at Bercy (Paris) and the Printemps de Bourges festival the program in its Discoveries section. The year 2009, dedicated writing new songs, see materialize Teaser EP, available on digital platforms this fall. The first parts of Pascale Picard pass through the Olympia in Paris in November.

In summer 2010, Puggy launches its second long-format called Something You Might Like; the effective pop songs of the trio blend with melodic rock runaways. The third album To Win the World (April 2013) to sustained ambition continues in the same clear line of effective rock.

This album contains no booklet.
