Jef Neve
Jazz pianist and composer Jef Neve studied at the Lemmens Institute in Liège, where he specialized in both classical music and jazz, graduating cum laude. Since 2003, he has received increasing international recognition for his virtuoso playing and his unique blend of jazz, classical music, and film music.
This breakthrough was quickly followed by a series of albums, first with his famous trio, then a solo album recorded at Abbey Road Studios, as well as various albums with different ensembles, film scores, a classical piano concerto, and more.
Jef Neve can be heard regularly on various radio stations and frequently appears on television programs. Jef has collaborated with numerous artists, including José James (USA), Gabriel Ríos (BE), Madeleine Peyroux (USA), Typhoon (NL), and Teus Nobel (NL), with whom he will release the duo album "Esho Funi" in February 2025. He has also composed music for films and theater.
Neve regularly performs on stages around the world and is known for his improvisational talent and compositional versatility.
Teus Nobel
With "Flow" (2012), Teus Nobel made his first introduction to a wider audience (Teus was honored as a Radio 6 Soul & Jazz Talent), and its follow-up, "Legacy" (2014), marked Teus Nobel's final breakthrough. "The future of jazz has awakened," wrote Jazzism. In the following years, Nobel released the albums "Social Music" (2016), "Journey Of Man" (2019), "Saudade" (2019), "Tanto Amor" (2021), "Pleasure Is The Measure" (2021), "Human First" (2023), "After Hours" (2023), and the EP "Love Vibrations" (2024).
The albums Saudade, Tanto Amor, Human First, and After Hours were nominated for the Edison Audience Award, with the former also winning an Edison Award in the Jazz National category.
In recent decades, Teus Nobel has collaborated with international artists such as Frank McComb (USA), Candy Dulfer, Frazey Ford (CAN), Jef Neve (B), and the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw. He has performed in more than 25 countries on all continents and appeared on numerous radio and television programs at home and abroad.
