Mayuko Ishigami
starts playing the violin at age 5. At age 8 she was invited to perform at the Rome International music Festival. When she was 16 she won the 2nd prize, the prize of the audience and the Nakamichi prize at the 77th Music Competition of Japan. In 2011 she won the 1st prize (strings section) at the 7th Romanian International Music Competition, together with the Prize of Excellency (all sections) and the special prize rewarding the most promising young concert artist. Later she won the 4th prize at the 5th Munetsugu Angel competition and the first prize at the 14th Czech music competition. She was invited to perform at the NHK-FM concert series or the “Recital NOVA” concert series. The Japanese national television channel NHK has made a documentary about her playing and has broadcasted her solo concert with the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra. Mayuko has performed with numerous orchestras, among which the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, the Brasov National Philharmonic, the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic and many others, including several European orchestras. She currently performs as a soloist as well as in chamber orchestras such as the Nagaokakyo chamber music ensemble and the Ensemble Kujoyama.
Keisuke Tsushima

Mari Adachi
is one of the leading violists in Japan.
She has been active as a soloist, a chamber musician and joined the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra as the Guest Principal Violist from the 2021/2022 season.
She released her first CD “Winterreise” (ART UNION) in 2018 and her second album recorded Bach’s solo pieces has been released from T-TOC RECORDS this August.
She is very passionate for doing her solo recitals with unique programs with different concepts including baroque to contemporary repertoires.
She has been educated in Tokyo, Vienna and Lausanne and worked as the Associate Principal Violist at the Tirol Symphony Orchestra in Innsbruck since 2013 for 2 years.
She has joined the Estonian Festival Orchestra directed by Paavo Järvi since 2016 and performing at Pärnu Music Festival, The Proms, the European tour, the Japan tour and the recording sessions. During the Japan Tour, she performed a duet by Mozart with Midori for the Pre-Concerts.
In 2019, she performed piano trio with Ryuichi Sakamoto and the performance was broadcasted over NHK BS Premium.
