Piano studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with Meri Louhos and Erik Tawaststjerna. Courses under Dimitri Bashkirov and Murray Perahia. Requested soloist and chamber musician. Joonas Pohjonen has been teaching piano at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki since 2001.
