Butcher Brown Presents Triple Trey Featuring Tennishu and R4ND4ZZO BIGB4ND dekonstruiert Bigband-Jazz und formt ihn nach dem eklektischen Bild der Band neu. Das Album klingt nicht wie die 45er-Platten Ihrer Großeltern. Randazzo hat die Rap-Beats von Tennishu für Butcher Brown und 10 weitere Musiker aus Richmond adaptiert und sie in gewagte Suiten verwandelt. Tennishu findet neue Reimtaschen inmitten von partytauglichen Originalen, während das Ensemble eine Mischung aus zeitgenössischem Genre-Smashing mit einer Prise Vergangenheit liefert.

Das Cover des Albums wurde von dem berühmten Designer Lou Beach (Designer des Weather Report-Klassikers Heavy Weather von 1977 und des jüngsten Albums #KingButch von Butcher Brown) entworfen.
