Die Anthology 4 wurde von Giles Martin neu zusammengestellt und enthält 13 bisher unveröffentlichte Demos sowie faszinierende Session-Aufnahmen und andere seltene Aufnahmen aus den Jahren 1963 bis 1969. Sie beinhaltet außerdem die letzte Single der Band, „Now And Then“, die 2023 veröffentlicht wurde, und neue Mixe der mit der Anthology verbundenen Hitsingles der Beatles: das GRAMMY-prämierte „Free As A Bird“ und „Real Love“, die von ihrem Originalproduzenten Jeff Lynne mit neu abgemischten John-Lennon-Vocals neu interpretiert wurden.
