Die Gorillaz veröffentlichen am 29. Juni ein brandneues Studioalbum mit dem Titel The Now Now. Das Werk enthält 11 komplett neue Songs des Weltweit Erfolgreichsten Virtuellen Acts, produziert von den Gorillaz mit James Ford und Remi Kabaka und im Februar dieses Jahres komplett im Studio 13 in London aufgenommen. Die virtuelle Band Gorillaz besteht aus Sänger 2D, Bassist Murdoc Niccals, Gitarristin Noodle und Drummer Russel Hobbs. Erschaffen von Damon Albarn und Jamie Hewlett, erschien ihr von der Kritik gefeiertes, selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum 2001. Die darauffolgenden Alben der mit dem BRIT- und Grammy-Award ausgezeichneten Band waren Demon Days (2005), Plastic Beach (2010), The Fall (2011) und Humanz (2017). Gorillaz
