Info for Shadow Run
"SHADOW RUN", released in 1993, was co-produced by Bill Laswell and old friend from Mariah, Yasuaki Shimizu, who performed together in New York in April and August this year and will perform together again next year and release an album. As you can see in the credits below, a gorgeous international line-up has joined the band, including Toshinori Kondo from Japan, who performed with the band live on 22 November. Of special note is the drum duo with Ginger Baker, drummer of Cream (Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker), with whom Hideo Yamaki rarely plays, and also with Bernie Worrell, who has sadly passed away recently. Bernie Worrell, who sadly passed away recently, provides plenty of groovy playing.
"I am proud to say that this work conveys the vibrancy of an era full of artistic and creative energy. Please check it out, everyone!" (Hideo Yamaki)
