Nemo Project

Biographie Nemo Project

Nemo Project
is an atypical trio formed by Claudia Pantalone (voice), Michelangelo Brandimarte (bass), Claudio Bollini (percussion) with the idea to experiment the various musical languages found within the origins of the three musicians, using electronic sounds, and through new compositions and innovative arrangements of tracks originating from the world of contemporary music.

The basic idea is to bring the instruments to the limit of their expressive potential, utilizing the languages found from jazz, pop, and funk; creating a mix of sounds and atmospheres that become a new way to consider music, careful to remain easy to listen to, while maintaining a high “musical profile”, using the interplay between the musicians. The journey as a quest for the new, the different, but also as an internal investigation, an opportunity for reflection on the lifestyle and the world to which we belong.

Is born in Germany the second CD of the trio and with the German label Neuklang is published with the name of SILENT: minimalism, ambient, improvisation, madness, interplay, theatricality; characteristics of the new work signed Nemo Project.

In this CD along with the trio there are Cuong Vu (trumpet), the pianist Ramberto Ciammarughi, strings and choir for an album that goes by the minimalist trio to the complexity of writing for large ensemble.

Nemo Project over the years has worked both in concert as artistic direction of the festival Atri Music Camp with artists such as Cuong Vu, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Michael Manring, John De Leo, Gigi Cifarelli, Beatrice Sarti, Claudio Filippini, Giorgio Distante, Israel Varela, Raffaele Casarano and others. Are numerous the performances at festivals and in the clubs as there have been several radio broadcasting for the first self-titled album.
