Sam Williams
is a singer/songwriter, who is also the grandson of the Country music legend Hank Williams, and son to recording artist Hank Williams Jr.

Born in Texas and raised in Tennessee to a family full of musicians and musical legends, Williams initially shunned the arts and moved to Nashville to study business at college. However, by 19 he dropped out of college and having always written music and poetry on the side, decided to fully embrace his heritage and began to pursue a career in music. He started collaborating with songwriters such as Jim Lauderdale, Lori McKenna, and Mary Gauthier, as well as working on his own material, releasing his debut single, Darkwater, in 2016. Since then he has released numerous singles and EPs, including 2020’s beautiful The World: Alone, which was dedicated to his late sister. His debut album, Glasshouse Children, came out in 2021.

Williams regularly connects with his legions of followers and fans through TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, posting pictures and comments about his musical life. He also has a dedicated YouTube channel, SamWilliams, and an official website, samwilliamsofficial.com.
