Céline Moinet begins her collaboration with harmonia mundi with a veritable tour de force, combining in a single programme two repertories separated by more than two centuries. Hence Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach resonate with the 20th century of Benjamin Britten, Luciano Berio and Elliott Carter, in a project that combines exceptional musical coherence with gentle sonority, reminding us of the ‘tenderness’ with which Berlioz identified the oboe.

In the orchestra, the oboe gives the tuning A on account of the richness of its harmonics and its stability, but it is also a solo instrument in its own right. Céline Moinet begins her collaboration with harmonia mundi with a veritable tour de force, combining in her programme repertoire separated by more than 200 years. Hence JS and CPE Bach resonate with the 20th century of Benjamin Britten, Luciano Berio and Elliott Carter, in a project that combines exceptional musical coherence with gentle sonority. Born in Lille in 1984, Céline Moinet studied oboe and chamber music at the Paris Conservatoire in the classes of David Walter and Maurice Bourgue. She also studied the Baroque oboe with Marcel Ponseele and Xenia Löffler.

In 2004 and 2005 she completed her orchestral training as a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester under the direction of Claudio Abbado. After this experience, she was invited to appear as guest principal with leading German orchestras and since June 2008 she has been the principal oboe of the celebrated Staatskapelle Dresden. In the autumn of 2011, she was invited by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra to appear on an extended tour of Asia and Australia. Céline Moinet performs regularly in solo and chamber repertoire and at the invitation of Fabio Luisi, she has given recitals and masterclasses at the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo. Céline Moinet plays an oboe by Marigaux of Paris.

Seit nunmehr 10 Jahren zählt Céline Moinet zu den Ausnahmekünstlern auf ihrem Instrument. Die Konzerte der jungen Oboistin reißen Publikum und Kritiker gleichermaßen zu Begeisterungsstürmen hin.

Céline Moinet ist als Solistin bei allen großen Orchestern der Welt gefragt. So trat sie unter anderem bei den Osterfestspielen Salzburg unter Christoph Eschenbach und der Sächsischen Staatskapelle Dresden sowie beim Pacific Music Festival unter Fabio Luisi und dem New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in der Suntory Hall auf. Darüber hinaus unternimmt sie regelmäßig Solotourneen mit den Dresdner Kapellsolisten, dem Prague Philharmonia und dem Württembergischen Kammerorchester Heilbronn.

Céline Moinet, 1984 in Lille, Nordfrankreich geboren, schloss ihr Studium am Pariser Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in der Klasse von David Walter mit Bestnoten und den höchsten Auszeichnungen ab. Sie vertiefte ihre künstlerische Ausbildung beim Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester und dem Orchester des Nationaltheaters Mannheim. Mit gerade einmal 23 Jahren gewann Céline Moinet die prestigeträchtige Stelle der Solo-Oboistin der Sächsischen Staatskapelle Dresden. Seither konzertiert Sie mit Dirigenten wie Christian Thielemann, Zubin Mehta, Claudio Abbado und Andris Nelsons und ist regelmäßiger Gast bei Orchestern wie den Wiener Philharmonikern und dem London Symphony Orchestra.

Céline Moinet veröffentlichte Solo-Aufnahmen bei harmonia mundi und Berlin Classics. Die bisher erschienen CDs mit Werken für Oboe solo sowie Kammermusik mit Oboe und Harfe wurden von der Kritik begeistert aufgenommen und erzielten Höchstbewertungen bei den französischen, deutschen und britischen Print- und Onlinemedien. Daraufhin wurde Céline Moinet von dem französisch-deutschem Fernsehsender arte und Rolando Villazón zu dessen Show „Stars von Morgen“ eingeladen.

Seit 2013 hat Céline Moinet eine Professur an der Hochschule für Musik „Carl-Mariavon-Weber“ inne und gibt regelmäßig Meisterkurse in Frankreich (académie internationale d ́été de musique de Nice), Deutschland (ISAM), Österreich (Musikakademie Tirol) und Japan (Pacific Music Festival).
